Screwed.

Sickening.

Survived.
The story of Henry viii's wives in six words. Anne of Cleaves and Jane Seymore are my favorites.

I'm actually really proud of this one. I got creative with the display to kind of show what happened to each wife.

Reasoning behind formating:

Screwed stands for wife number one, Katherine of Aragon. She didn't have very much power over him, as she never gave him the son he desired. She, and her daughter 'Bloody' Mary were seriously screwed over.

Severed stands for the most famous wife, Anne Boylen, and most people know what happened to her, heince both 'severed' and the s being cut away from severed

Son stands for my second favorite, wife number three Jane Seymore. She gave him his only non-bastard son, so she is emphisised. She is also considered to be Henry's favorite wife.

Sickening stands for my favorite wife, Anne of Cleaves. Her marriage with him lasted a grand total of six months before it was striked out due to her being so ugly the king wouldn't go near her. (Ironically, Anne had the last laugh as she outlived Henry and all his other wives. She ended up becoming very good friends with Henry.)

The next one stands for Katherine Howard. She ended up cheating on the king and like Anne Boylen, she lost her head.

The last one is Catherine Parr. She was the lucky once. She survived Henry VIII.

Love this. Although I would argue that screwed could also refer to Anne Boleyn, as those charges against her were most likely ALL trumped up and lies.
